George Orwell once wrote (in
The Road to Wigan Pier, I think) that it is impossible for people to focus on creative pursuits if they have to struggle to make ends meet. I'd love to reflect on this further, but I really should be seeking gainful employment instead.

Its painfully true. I havent written anything worthwhile in months.
What about all those starving artists? Hmm. I guess they starved.
